Finding a job or consolidating a business project are issues that require all our attention and, above all, knowing what we are facing, what we can achieve and how to be better prepared to reach our goals. Advising and informing ourselves are some of the actions that ensure that we live the experience of facing great challenges with greater control over uncertainties.

Career Aspiration, Career Vocation, Professional Vocation

Aiming for a decent job or achieving our professional development is an aspect of our life that deserves all our attention. We are preparing for it practically from childhood, and yet there are many obstacles that we can find along the way. The first thing we can do to overcome our doubts is to recognize our scope, our aspirations and the existing offer in the professional and technical environment and the hiring possibilities. The second is the creation of new forms of business, either out of necessity or because we have dreamed of it.

We need be prepared to reach a contract or succeed with our business projects. “The majority of self-employed entrepreneurs in the informal economy of low- and middle-income countries, comments the International Labour Organization (ILO), do not have a sophisticated business plan that has a clearly articulated mission statement, a well-defined production strategy, sophisticated sales and marketing strategies, a human resource development policy, and a well-developed financing plan.”

Analyzing the market, understanding the policies regarding work and the economic development of our countries, as well as access to information about the financial sector, gives us greater tools to project ourselves economically. Finding a job is not an easy task And it is becoming increasingly more demanding to have one according to our technical or academic preparation and yet the contractual conditions do not guarantee stability. Says the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), than:

“Many workers suffer from a precariousness of their working conditions, precisely because of greater job and income instability and downward pressure on social benefits. Finally, in the countries of the region a high proportion of workers continue to be excluded from formal labour institutions.”

To ensure that everyone let's have opportunities In order to develop our economic activity, whether through a contract or as entrepreneurs of our own projects, governments must rethink their labour policies to promote the insertion of young people in the labour market and avoid poverty, unemployment and inequality. In fact, according to figures from the ILO:

“20% of young people participating in the labor market “They qualify as entrepreneurs, however, the vast majority, equivalent to 18,6% of the total, are self-employed, which generally implies vulnerable working conditions. Only 2% are employers, mostly with small businesses.”

Adapting to changes, facing challenges and working to achieve our goals allows us to develop our personal life in a more dignified manner. With insurance SURA We can find advice, guidance and support to carry out our projects, moving forward without uncertainty, safe and accompanied.
