More than 3.500 SURA employees joined forces to support the company in Colombia

Thousands of SURA employees and advisors met on Tuesday, September 21, in Colombia to celebrate their membership in the company and reaffirm their commitment to contributing to the well-being and development of the country.

This symbolic day exalted the commitment of a group of people who give life to the company every day. and it was the opportunity to make visible the voices of those who contribute every day to the development of the organization.

“I believe in SURA and I am SURA, I live by its principles and its way of acting” expressed some of the signs, highlighting that this would not be possible without the effort, dreams, dedication and passion of all the employees, advisors and suppliers who were present.

The meeting reached the different social networks with more than 2.000 publications in support of the company united under the hashtags #IBelieveInSURA y #IAmSURA.

Attendees wore white t-shirts as a symbol of gratitude for their second home, which has been looking after their well-being, that of their families and Colombian society for 78 years.

With over 77 years of experience, South American SA. is a company specialising in the insurance industry and in risk and trend management. It is a subsidiary of Grupo SURA (81.1%) and also has the backing of the German reinsurance company Munich Re (18.9%) as a shareholder.

The company It is a multi-solution, multi-channel and multi-segment platform with operations in 9 Latin American countries, where it seeks to deliver sustainable well-being and competitiveness to each of its 18 million clients, including individuals and companies, served by nearly 22 employees and 25,000 advisors.

It is presented to the market as Seguros SURA in Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Panama and the Dominican Republic, and as Asesuisa in El Salvador. Suramericana is the eighth largest insurer in the region, by volume of issued premiums, and is the fourth of Latin American origin as of 2021.
