EThis Wednesday, the Corporate Reputation Monitor (Merco), which ranks the 12 companies and business leaders with the best reputation in Colombia, recognized SURA as the sixth company with the best perception in Colombia, thus celebrating XNUMX consecutive years among the top ten organizations in the country in this independent measurement that includes aspects of the SURA Business Group.
In this way, SURA maintained the first position in the country's insurance sector. by recognizing the management of Seguros SURA Colombia, a leadership that this subsidiary of Suramericana has maintained for 15 years. The Merco Empresas survey includes the perception of different audiences such as financial analysts, economic journalists, academics, employees of the companies evaluated, representatives of NGOs and university students.
In this sense, SURA's assessment in different audiences is supported by facts, for example, the nearly 250 thousand micro, small and medium-sized companies supported by Seguros SURA to gain sustainable competitiveness. Also highlighted are the more than 350 thousand daily benefits for EPS SURA members, as well as the more than COP 30,000 million that SURA allocates during 2022 to promote the country's social capital in initiatives associated with quality of education, cultural promotion, peace building and civic training.
Examples of leadership in the region
One of the positive data from the results of the last Merco is that women not only increase their presence in the ranking, but also improve their positions. Such is the case of the president of Suramericana, Juana Francisca Llano Cadavid, who occupied 19th place in the ranking that brings together the most important leaders of Colombia. In this way, positioned itself as one of the three most reputable leaders of 2022.
