Confined economy

Slowdown in consumption and physical lifestyle, due to an increase in virtuality. Border closures, the global recession and the fear of going out to avoid exposure, change the economic dynamics, modifying commercial exchanges and creating a social distance in the business world. This favors the purchase of local products and a slowdown in the megatrend known as globalization.

As the city becomes a space that inspires fear and anguish, people take refuge in the privacy of their homes. Technology allows them to access all kinds of information, inquire about prices, order goods and services at home; recreation and culture, among many other possibilities, thus creating a home culture. Digital becomes more relevant, allowing work to be coordinated remotely, marketing is turning to virtuality, and despite the economic impacts, new opportunities are emerging to adapt to a life in confinement.
