Neoruralism

Neoruralism is a phenomenon of migration from urban to rural areas in search of well-being, tranquility and to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities, which has also been driven by technology and investment in infrastructure that connects the city with the countryside, making the move to the latter not synonymous with isolation. Despite the perceived benefits of migrating to the countryside, neoruralism brings with it problems such as the rising cost of land in the countryside and the modification of local practices of native inhabitants.
