We have established ourselves as a trend and risk management organization that, based on a structured understanding of the environment, offers products and services that respond to the needs of people and businesses in Latin America.

Since 1944, SURA has been present in the most decisive moments of Latin Americans' lives, supporting them in managing their well-being and competitiveness so they can ensure their lives are safe. Over these 80 years, we have built trust, consolidating our ability to be and serve as a companion in a constantly changing world.
During 2024, this purpose reminded us of the most essential aspects of our business and reiterated our long-term vision.
Today, looking back, we understand that we have grown alongside those who have allowed us to accompany them. Because our history is made up of many stories.

Ethics, Corporate Governance and Regulatory Management

In 2024, we continued to operate under the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring transparent, efficient management aligned with our strategic objectives. The work of our boards, committees, and assemblies enabled informed and responsible decisions, reflecting a high level of engagement in the Company's direction and objectives. Furthermore, in ESG risk management, the Board's effectiveness was highlighted, although an opportunity was identified to further strengthen the expertise of some of its members in this area.
To continue moving forward, the goal was to foster a more proactive approach to generating disruptive and innovative ideas, as well as integrating emerging technologies to strengthen competitiveness. The need to enhance diversity and inclusion and develop succession plans that consolidate key knowledge for the future was also established.

Planetary Social Health, a commitment

In 2024, we will celebrate 80 years of being and doing a sustainable company for many generations in Latin America.
Suramericana has adopted the Social and Planetary Health program as its framework, aiming to contribute to the balance between social dimensions and planetary boundaries. Through this initiative, it seeks to guarantee a dignified and just space for people, promoting inclusive and sustainable economic development in harmony with the environment.
In line with this commitment, the Company, through its Geosciences team, was the only Latin American insurer to participate alongside UNEP-FI and the NPI working group in the creation of a global guide for insurers on priority actions for nature, launched in December 2024. This guide focuses on three key areas: understanding the interconnection between the insurance industry's businesses and nature; assessing dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities; and developing strategies to address these challenges, with the aim of strengthening a sustainable social fabric.
