Seguros SURA Latin America is launching an initiative to allow thousands of artists to express themselves on trends and the future of the region. Registration is now open and the winners will be part of an advertorial.
With the aim of making visible and connecting emerging artists from the region, SURA Insurance Latin America carries out the project #CreatorsOfTheComingWorld. Registration is open for those who wish to participate and the winning works will be published in the Editorial Line of SURA.
During the month of April, emerging artists are selected whose works will be exhibited in nine Latin American countries. “The goal is to create a community of artists who think about trends and the future of the region and, through them, raise awareness about the changes that are to come,” he explains. Natalia Gallo, Brand Director at Seguros SURA Latin America.
The changes Gallo refers to are a central point of the project. Artists who submit their works must interpret trends related to mobility, quality of life, connectivity, habitat, business and health.
“It is a project that seeks to make visible and connect emerging artists from Latin America through various institutions, neighborhoods and allies,” highlights the Brand Director. She adds: “We are looking for artists who have thoughts about the future of mobility, connectivity, life moments, companies, the places we live in and health. And who can express these ideas through music, literature, graphic design, photography, audiovisual, painting, illustration and animation.”
SURA's allies
To achieve the objective proposed with the #CreadoresDelMundoQueLlega project, Seguros SURA established alliances with creative institutions in the region. On this occasion, the participants are: Salazar y Herrera University Institution and the Débora Arango Higher Technological School of Art.
“Every month we have an ally. It can be an institution, a neighborhood, an academy or a group of collectives, with which we hold contests to choose representatives or works that allow us to tell a future reality,” says Gallo, adding that “the contest for each ally lasts one month.”
In this selection of artists, five thousand new graphic and audiovisual exponents will be called upon to create a gallery of new SURA art.
The winners
At the end of the month, the winning works will be published in SURA's Editorial Line. In addition, both the institution and the winning artist will be part of an advertorial that will be produced by a Latin American publishing outlet.
“Every week there will be an artist who will be made visible through the platform @aseguratedevivirsura “Through the virtual magazine that reaches more than 160 thousand people in the region digitally,” says Gallo. “This publication will publish an article curating the work and at the end of the year they will be invited to connect to a Latin American meeting of artists in order to undertake projects together,” he continues.
