Ana Cristina Abad Restrepo

Social Communicator Journalist from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín - Colombia. Specialist in Semiotics of Communicative Interaction from EAFIT University; Master in Advanced Studies in Communication from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. 

He worked as head of the Department of Communication and Culture at EAFIT University for 11 years, during which time he developed the institutional lines and policies related to cultural management and the communication processes of the University. He has been a professor in the areas of communication in the organizations of the undergraduate program in Social Communication at EAFIT. 

From 2005 to 2015, she was the director of the EAFIT Children's University, a non-formal education program that, through science communication workshops, fosters the rapprochement between researchers from the University and children from diverse social backgrounds in the city. From 2016 to 2020, she was the Manager of the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra Corporation. In 2021, she joined SURAMERICANA and currently serves as Corporate Environment Management Manager.
