Ricardo Jaramillo Mejia

He is a civil engineer from the School of Engineering of Antioquia and has an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the Boston University Graduate School of Management.

Since May 1, 2024, he has held the position of President of Grupo SURA, after serving for eight years as Vice President of Business Development and Finance of the same Company.

Previously, he was associated with Banca de Inversión Bancolombia in the positions of president, vice president of Finance and project manager, among other positions during 16 years associated with the Bank.

He is currently a member of the boards of directors of Grupo SURA's main investments, both the subsidiaries Suramericana and SURA Asset Management, as well as Bancolombia and Grupo Argos, as associated companies in the portfolio.

He is also a member of the board of directors of the SURA Foundation in Colombia, the Private Competitiveness Council (CPC), the Entrepreneurs for Education Foundation, the Medellín Cultural Association, the Medellín Philharmonic Orchestra, and is also a member of the Superior Council of the EIA University.
