Chief Underwriting Officer of Munich Re in Germany for businesses in Latin America, the Caribbean, Portugal and Spain. With an MBA from the Oxford University Business School (Saïd Business School) and a degree in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia.

He has held different roles at Munich Re, including Inpat, Head of Property, Facultative Property Manager and Claims Manager, and CEO of the Brazilian operation from 2015-2021. He also held various positions in the areas of underwriting and claims.

With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector, he has worked in companies such as SulAmerica ING, Emerging Markets Partnership, FM Global, Amil and Munich Re, focusing on risk assessment, strategy, portfolio management, risk and claims analysis, product development, innovation and capital optimization, among others.
